April 28 - "All Aboard for a Cure" The Atlanta Chapter of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation is excited and energized to be able to reach out to the community to raise awareness as well as support those who are fighting mitochondrial disease in our area. Whether you, someone you love, or someone you know is fighting this disease, we can all come together to spread the word and raise money for research toward a cure. After a 1-mile walk, we will end in Thrasher Park for family fun day activities, activities for children of all ages and abilities, free food and drinks, and great entertainment! TBD CHUK 5K RUN - Cops Helping Unique Kids. The Norcross Police Department and United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia are teaming up to present a special event featuring family fun and celebrating kids of all abilities. The first annual C.H.U.K Run will begin with a 5K Run through downtown Norcross at 8:00 AM. There is a $20 registration fee, with all proceeds going to support United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia services for children and adults with disabilities. May 28 Strawberry Stroll 5K It’s the annual Strawberry Stroll with great shopping and lots of sugary, locally-grown berries to buy in downtown.
